This will be interesting. He, for some unknown reason, can't for the life of him bring home what I ask for. I was going to go, but Bells wanted me here. Sooooo, what will it be? I am guessing regular Claritin or baby Tylenol.

6. My first trip to a Piggly Wiggly
I grew up in Mass and NH, in lilly-white suburban/exurban towns. In 1993, I moved to New Orleans, a city which is considerably more diverse. The first time I went into a local supermarket, which I think was a Piggly Wiggly, I was amazed at what I found in the meat section:

A Build-It-Yourself Pig Kit.

Hoofs, lips, ears, and whatever the hell a chitlin is.

I'm still unsettled by the experience!

a carton of Gauloises, a radio-controlled helicopter, a box of blueberry muffin mix, a glue gun, and some mothballs. He will totally forget the Claritin.

I can send him a picture on his phone while he is at the store and he will still come out with the wrong thing. Sometimes I truly want to run away from home.
