We're surrounded by woods. There's endless exploring for a little cat.

Too, she may've found a second home. When she came in, she only ate a couple of bites.

Of course, it could be she'd dined on mouse tartare earlier in the day.

We have a 'tuxedo' of similar appearance, who has been conducted a campaign of two years to get to the outside world. His sitting by the back door mewling has gotten him the run of the back-porch steps recently, and he is beginning to try the same at the ground-level outside door....

You'll never know what fun she was having.

We watched someone's kitty the other day having fun in a neighbor's yard. There's a piece of downspout, about 3 ft long, laying on the ground and that kitty had something in there. He'd run to one end, peak in, reach in all the way with his paw, then race down to the other end and repeat. It was hilarious.

I'm glad she's home. Was she gone long?

15. Not gone long. Only one overnight.

But we lost Princess recently, then Angel found a home. And with Mrs. V. blue because she's in so much pain (wrist surgery), it would have been very hard to have lost another cat.

Our last indoor/outdoor cat never stayed outside long. I would have been in complete panic if he'd ever been gone overnight.
