Who is to blame for the wild accusations, photos and late nights for dad Jon of 'Jon and Kate' Plus 8? Many are saying their is no excuse for a man with eight kids and a wife being out late at night with another woman. Others have chimed in and blamed Kate, saying her antics anf the way she treats Jon are just too much.

Neighbors spoke to us Weekly magazine and their cover photo showing a shocked Jon in a car with a mystery babe at a bar at closing time has everyone scrambling trying to get some sort of statement out that doesn't make either look bad.

the kids could fingerpaint. The mom decided what colors each kid would use because she wanted to frame every one of them to use as art in the new house. That's totally taking away the kids's creativity....smacks of major control freak. The finished products didn't even look like little kids had done them because of the colors she selected. :(

I've seen the show only a couple of times and in one she was very snippy, but I suspect that if I watched the whole series it wouldn't change my opinion on his possible stepping out -- he's the father of 8 kids under the age of 10 and he has no business exposing them to anymore public scrutiny than they're already under.

They have three shifts of nannies according to recent reports. Jon purchased a condo in Utah that is too small to house his whole family. He purchased a new sports car for $40,000 (see pics of him and his "friend") and the house is in a "revocable" trust. They claim that all the money goes to the kids. Not quite true. But then neither is the coupon pinching, hands on mom and dad image they present to the public. These live off the kids they no longer seem to spend any real time with.

With the Duggars, I get what's going on. It's pretty clear when one reads their website that they have guilt issues about that miscarriage that happened before any of the kids were born. Michele thinks it was caused by her use of the birth control pill. So while it's still creepy, I can understand it as some kind of attempt at compensating for that event.

This couple, I know little about but they seem very plastic and fake. Like the Pinks in SubGenius teachings.

Do a Lounge search for the term "babe" and see how many jillions of threads and posts you find. It's a common and casual term. I don't personally use it for anyone except my cat and my six-year-old nephew (neither of whom I'm sexually involved with), but I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the number of times I've been called "babe" by friends, both male and female. I don't perceive it as sexual or overly friendly at all. It's just the way some folks express endearment.
