CONFESS!!!! What dirty little secret do you have hidden away from your teenage years
Edited on Wed May-06-09 04:05 PM by LynneSin
Aka topless pics like Carrie Prejean.

Me - I was pulled over by a PA State policeman because I mooned him.

Oh I once shoplifted about 6 of these - I love these snacks!!

I didn't have the heart to tell him I'd sooner make love with the queen

And I have never told that story until just now.

I'd have been MEGA stupid drunk with THAT much free beer!

My best score of that type was when I was working at Albertsons and was collecting carts from the lot. Somebody forgot about the 2 cases of beer in the bottom of the cart, and one little detour to my car later... :)

I also got caught by a NY State Trooper smoking pot in a parked car at a high school basketball game. Luckily, my friend who had the pot took off running so the trooper couldn't find anything to charge us with.

9. When I was a senior in HS....
I befriended a freshman who was a known hoodlum. Nice kid, he was- and when I mentioned that I wanted a new Zippo lighter in either chrome or matte black, well.... he stole them BOTH for me!

And every morning before school, we'd drive up to some convenience store for "supplies" (gum, candy, cigarettes- whatever), and the kid would just rob the place blind- he was a master of shoplifting! I shudder to think where he is now....

23. My friends and I switched two MG Midgets one night.
It was pretty easy, they don't weigh anything. They were almost identical. We passed each other on the corner and put them in the opposite parking spaces. Unfortunately, none of us witnessed what must have been dual confusion, but both were gone when we got home from school. Still, it was a good prank.

Turning the VW Bug sideways in the mall parking lot was also fun - only took 8 of us.

35. In 1955 or so, my aunt caught a group of kids lifting her car from its parking place on the street
to put it on the sidewalk. They were very busy when she arrived at her parking place, and she saw no reason to interrupt their efforts. When they had the car positioned on the sidewalk where they wanted it, she congratulated them on their achievement, pointed out that she couldn't put the car back by herself, and asked them nicely if they would please restore it to its original location so she could go about her day. They obliged, and everyone left in a happy mood

31. I skipped nearly a month of school, consecutively.
I had wisdom teeth pulled, and milked the holy hell out of it. Truth was I ate corn nuts later that day, and never had any problems.

I enjoyed sitting behind the stoned kid after the lunch period when he went home and got totally baked. It was fun to ever so slowly tilt his desk backward until eventually he was laying on his back on the ground, and still didn't know what the hell had happened.

Theres more, but most I refuse to share with anyone but my wife.

34. I might know who blew out the school sewer pipes. I really had nothing to do with it,
aside from unintentionally giving the kid an idea about how to go about it, in a conversation that involved absolutely no criminal intent on my part: the kid said, Well, what would happen if?, and I said, No, that's not a good idea because!, and some time later I heard about the pipes, and the gossip was! but actually I never had any definite knowledge, and I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations expired years ago, though I was always relieved nobody ever asked me about it

Mostly stuff like that, involving hearsay about low-grade felonies by this or that acquaintance, some of whom apparently had the tendency to go off half-cocked twenty minutes before or after I had bumped into them

38. I was a troubled teen.
I went to college tailgate parties where the guys would try to get me drunk. I avoided anything alcoholic at these functions and mainly went to get something to eat. My parents didn't provide lunch on weekends so I was on my own if I wanted food. I also did a bit of shoplifting as well. I got kicked out of Young Life for fighting. I also got kicked off the school bus for three days for getting into a fight over a seat. I also got caught violating the school's drug policy for having iboprufen. I refused to keep my Motrin in the school nurse's office.

Which means that in all likelihood, you were probably wearing at least ONE of the following; a sweatshirt with an oversized neck off of the shoulder, a Benetton shirt, Guess Jeans (or perhaps a Guess mini-skirt?), Tretorn shoes, Chuck Taylors (possibly in a neon color), a banana clip in your hair, or (and I'll stop here) an add-a-bead necklace.

Tell me I'm wrong!!!!

94. Heh. My mom LOVED Aqua-Net.
I smelled it everyday. I can still see the aqua blue can with the netting on it....

The bigger, the better - starting at the roots. :)

Did you "north of the Manson/Nixon line" gals do the bow thing?

101. There were a LOT of bows down here at that time....
In 1988, I was still in High School (graduated in 1989), but I spent a lot of time at LSU (my sister was there, getting me into frat/sorority parties, or other assorted troubles)... High School, I can understand, but to see the college girls running around with big, honkin' pink bows in their hair looked a little strange to me.

I never wore one but my little sister LOVED them....

I remember that style being huge in 1984 - but it faded out quickly.

She wore them for a looong time. She preferred them over banana clips, although she used those as well.

106. The Madonna look was never a big thing here....
It seemed more like the girls here wanted to look more "cutesy" (for lack of a better word) than anything else. Hence, big, pink (often polka-dotted) bows.

107. Yeah. I know what you are talking about
That kind of cutsey thing really never caught on up here. I saw plenty of hair bows in the eighties but never polka dotted ones...

110. Hehehehe....
There was (and is) and all-girls Catholic school down the street from my High School (which was the public Magnet and Performing Arts School). The girls at St. Joseph's were (in)famous for their.... errrrrr... ummmmmmmm... willingness to please... And they were, by far, the biggest offenders in the cutesy bow market.

51. i helped a friend make bongs out of one of those water cooler jugs.
him and another friend got busted smoking out of them in an abandoned house behind mine. i was asleep at the time. if i hadn't overslept i would have been arrested with them.

to give you an idea what i'm talking about:

one we named naganjasaki, and the other we named hirochiba.

they were maginificent. only got to use one of them once. had to make sure they worked, and that everything was sealed where it needed to be.

56. "borrowed" a car without permission and drove it to Woodstock.
It belonged to my friend's parents, who were away on vacation in the other car.

It would have not been that big a deal had the car not lost it's clutch on the return journey, and we were stranded in King of Prussia, PA, rest stop with no cash left .....

ah, the sixties.
