Do you "sign" your emails?

I generally don't (other than my sigline in my business emails, that has all of my contact info). I'm speaking more of personal ones here.

I have SO many friends who go this route:

Love (or some other closing line),
ME

"ME?" Why "ME?" If you're going to make the effort to sign your email at all, why not type out your name?

1. for personal emails, just my name

for business emails I have all my business contact info in my signature.

"Me" is stupid, though if I call my parents I usually say, "Hey, it's me."

That's understandable. But at the end of an email, it seems a little silly!

I sign all my personal e-mail with:

9. Sometimes I sign them with a C. Otherwise, not at all.

(Business-related emails do get signed with my full name and job title.)

Personal emails get maybe a name at the end, but only if I'm the one opening the conversation.

Business emails get a whole datablock, e.g.:

Fname Lname
Business
Position
800 number
primary business email

and maybe a footer graphic with link to business.tld

Personal inquiries to businesses get:

Fname Lname
Cell Number (id'd as such)
primary email
secondary email
(note the lack of snailmail address)

I usually sign them. But not always, esp. if I'm talking back and forth with a friend...when it's almost IM'ing .

For work e-mail all of the details are in the signature line, but I'll always close off the message. For short informal messages I do sometimes just stick my initial, otherwise I'll put a closing salutation and my first name.

15. Sometimes, I do. All depends on the context of the contents of

the specific email. Never have signed one as Me, that I recall.

i see no point in 'signing' an email i send to my mom or friend. they know it's me.
