3. us old people who read - Guess that excludes many Republicans -
know that Ian Flemming intended James Bond to be a satire character. His various choices in life - his guns, cars, even his drinks were kind of "inside jokes" Fleming played on his general readers. Bond was a comical figure to Fleming, who killed him off after a few novels, only to be forced by his audience to being him back to life in "You Only Live Twice."
Real Martinis are made with gin.

And it isn't Bond who made me think so. I just don't like gin. :P
