4. Granted, I am nowhere near the trekkie many are, but
let's face it: Sci-fi is supposed to be complex. Any sci-fi storyline that makes sense has to be more vapid and braindead than Britney Simpson Duff Cyrus Hilton.

Sci-fi is just a fantasy genre. the complexity of movies has nothing to do with what genre it is. And if complexity is the benchmark of a good movie, than the Dark Knight is the greatest movie of all time with it's interwoven, complex plot.

8. I will concede on that.
I just get too bored by simple movies, so I gravitate to the ones that require functioning brain cells. NuTrek is not a unique in that aspect...
