6. My dear Dinger...
We'll be eating in about 40 minutes...

Our favorite chicken recipe: baked chicken on top of a mixture of rice, water, and onion soup mix, and a can of cream of mushroom soup. It is fabulous and sooooooo delicious!

And a green veg of some sort, TBD.

Our desserts come from a local baker who is amazing!

12. I cooked a 2.75-lb London broil in the crock pot with some consomme and red wine.
It cooked for 6-8 hours or so (I can't remember exactly when I put it in). Served it sliced on French rolls with the cooking liquid for dipping.

14. Day 3 of millet couscous
Stew features pork loin, cabbage, chick peas, green beans, diced tomatoes, okra, bell pepper, sweet onion, tomato paste, carrots, celery and the usual minced garlic, gluten-free tamari and olive oil. Two dark chocolate covered almonds for dessert. Leftovers can be brilliant if a) the food was good in the first place and b) you only reheat them once. Was brilliant, edging towards awesome.

Spicy ground sausage, penne, tomato cream sauce, parmasean, red pepper flakes, basil; mozzarella melted on top. Quite good for a recipe cut out of the newspaper. I'd make it again.
