What is with Greys Anatomy? (Possible Spoilers)

Why do they have to kill off Izzy?(Which I am pretty sure is going to happen) I want them to kill off Meridith because I cannot stand her! LOL It would be just as good called "Yangs Anatomy", Right?

1. I like Izzy

Supposedly Katherine Heigl wanted off the show and even publicly criticized the show. The producers may simply be granting her wish. Meridith and Derick are the less interesting characters to me. I really haven't been watching the show. I stopped when Izzy started talking to and having sex with a ghost.

2. LOL

Yeah I was starting to think they ran out of ideas after that too. It has gotten better though, turns out Denny is a hallucination caused by a brain tumor and Izzy has cancer. I am pretty sure they are getting rid of her. Denny was gone for a while and in this last week he was back and they found the tumor so............IDK. Looks like she is history. I like her too, she really cares about people. I loved the episode where she treated the immigrants outside the ER.

3. I get that they were setting up the cancer storyline

but there had to be a better way other than the Denny's ghost idea. Katherine recently said she would be more than happy to stay on the show. Since she had a change of heart, maybe Izzy will live. I, however, agree...Izzy will probably die.

4. I hated Alex at first

But I really feel bad for him ya know, first that Rebecca chic goes all psycho and now izzy is going to die. Maybe the next twist will be to get him to be cheif or something LOL I doubt it but it would have to be something random to make up for his character going through so much shit!

5. I'm not so sure she's going to die

It seems the set up is that Dereck will be able to remove the tumor and she will survive. The cost though is losing her memory. This will begin a whole new story line with a new Izzy personality. Will/should her marriage survive? Will she retain her medical knowledge to practice medicine (IMO of course). I predict we'll see a whole new Izzy next season with none of her loyalties in tact. And I too share the Meredith dislike. She's the most annoying thing about that show.
