12. 'Sex Madness' is about the dangers of VD

It's hilariously parodied as "Reckless Youth" at the end of "Amazon Women on the Moon," with Carrie Fisher in the lead role as the innocent yet "unclean" Mary Brown. ("It was only then that I learned of my shame.") :D

My other favorites in the genre are "Cocaine Fiends," "Assassin of Youth" and "Marihuana," which has brief nudity (In 1936?) and teaches us that drinking beer and dancing lead to smoking dope, which leads to getting knocked up, shooting heroin and ultimately selling it for your drug-dealer boyfriend.

Actually, Reefer Madness was part of the efforts by the cotton industry to ban hemp. Cotton is crap as a fiber compared to hemp and you wouldn't want to smoke the leaves from the hemp that is grown for fiber anyway, well not unless you are REALLY into splitting headaches.
