This first picture is from Mayo Clinic looking out the window at my hotel on the left:
Whats neat about Rochester is that this hotel and Mayo Clinic and most of downtown are connected both by skyways and underground "subways" so once I was in the hotel I could walk everywhere and not go outside. It was nice to literally take an elevator down and have a short walk to get to my appointments...
Then they had a nesting pair of Peregrine Falcons on top of one of the tall buildings and have a live camera of them..
Right after this I saw a fairly rare event she got up and adjusted the three eggs..That was cool
While I was there I found this cool Barnes and Nobel bookstore..I loved the layout..
Finally..I stayed the night in Bloomington, MN to meet up with people and I ended up staying in a hotel that had a water park inside it. It was cool. My balcony overlooked the waterpark (which wasn't open at the time)
And here is the outside of the waterpark..
I have to admit Minnesota is an interesting place. I'm sorry now that I've gotten to know it somewhat, my doctor is transferring to Mayo-Arizona, so thats where I will be going next year
