I can't find work so I was trying to withdraw money from my Roth, something my ex always handled. Long story short, I sent a chunk of cash to the government by mistake.

I feel so STUPID. I had to call the ex and ask him his advice and you know, I think he was secretly pleased.

God help me. I'm good for nothing but housewifery (bangs head against wall).

My ex is great for that kind of thing...I never see him, but when I'm in a horrific bind, he bails me out.
He's sent me money in the past few months....I'm so grateful.
So if your ex was secretly pleased...let him revel in it. It doesn't hurt you, he's helping, and you are not stupid.
