5. Yes
If Leonardo came around one night and painted "The Last Supper" on the side of my house I'd be royally pissed.

He should get his own damn materials and leave me out of it. Or at least ask.

4. Some is, some isn't.
The same can be said of painting, sculpture, photography, film, etc.

6. Yes.
Whether or not it's good art is a question of taste.

9. Sometimes. And sometimes it's just an elaborate signature in a place that
doesn't require signing...

10. On your own property, art. On someone else's property, vandalism. nt

11. Why not?
If Jackson Pollock's stuff is considered art, then anything else will fit the definition.

12. Some of the kids have real talent.
I just wish they'd find a more appropriate outlet for it.

As with any art form, not all of it is *good* art, but check out this guy known as "Banksy"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Banksy

He's the guy who did an amazing piece on the Israeli/Palestine border wall as I recall.

edit: Here is the Israeli wall piece...

15. Probably... lots of wasted talent goes into graffiti
It's a shame that people that talented can't put their skills to better use.

16. If it's done on the artist's own property, yes.
If not, it may be attractive but it's vandalism.
