5. Have the same issue with my wife.
If I can't feel the music through the floor, it's not loud enough. Of course, I've pretty well trashed my hearing for some high frequencies. Which means, in my case, that she's r . . .r . . . . r . . . right. Whew! Had a hard time spitting that one out!

4. I've pulled that on the hubby, but the 9 and 11 yos aren't buying it for some reason. And this from
the kids who play their computer games at volume levels like they are in the arcade or something. *Beep, boop, swoosh, crash*

23. Well, you know the one about the
man who told his doctor that he thought his wife was losing her hearing and didn't know what to do.

The doctor told him to come up behind her and say something to see if she reacts, so when he went home, he saw her in the kitchen at the stove and he called over to her "Hi honey! What's for dinner?" -- and she doesn't reply, so he walks closer and repeats it -- again, no reply. Until he finally gets right up behind her and says it again, and FINALLY she answers:

"I've told you three times already! Chicken!"

25. they don't care for your taste in music?
Actually kids hate it when Mom enters territory claimed by the young, in fashion, music, anything. Their expectations are kind of...prudish. Do you think?
