Have you ever seen a rainbow wrapped around the sun?

I was just arriving to officiate a wedding when I happened to look up and spot the rainbow. I immediately dropped my briefcase and scrambled for my camera. According to all weather reports we were due for more thunderstorms right about that time. Instead we were treated to this amazing view. I have never seen anything like this.

2. No, but ONCE in a plane, I saw a circular rainbow around the

shadow of the plane on a cloud below...

wish I had a camera then, probably would have been worth a few bucks (not to mention I could have shown it to everyone I knew...)

3. I've seen lots of em around the moon

and have them frequently. mostly not so bright as this. it's beautiful

5. up here in the upper midwest, when it gets below zero those are common
