Know what I hate about hangings in film?

Almost without fail, they look unmistakably like a person trussed up by a shoulder harness and nothing at all like person dangling by the neck.

I'm not looking for snuff-film realism, but this particular flaw really disrupts the scene for me, especially if it's supposed to be a moment of great pathos.

If special effects can put a full-sized tyrannosaur believably on the screen, why can't they get this simple detail right?

15. Seriously, though, I just google imaged lynching and saw so many pics there. I can

hardly believe how many creeps took photos of the people they murdered. (Of course the idiots were proud of it so I suppose it makes sense in a bizarre, horrific sort of way.)

13. Beheading with axes never really look authentic either. Not that i'm an expert

or anything but i've read enough books about Queen Elizabeth to fully appreciate a beheading where the executioner wasn't paid enough by the prisoner or he had his own agenda.
