How are you today?

It is hot and sticky here. Not me .... the weather :P

Yesterday I called the guy from my second job. He told me to give him a call Friday afternoon then he will give me the dates when I will work. Starting next week. With the extra money I will earn I can begin to get my finances in order.

1. Mornin' Miss H

As you can see I missed my goal of 1000 posts in a day by a little bit :). I did go out for a hike yesterday. We walked the two mile trail at a local park. It winds around back through the woods and there are some pretty good hills. I'm in much better shape than I thought I was. I barely even broke a sweat and didn't get winded. I'm going to go again today. I was going to take some pictures, but for some reason decided to leave the camera at home.

Just by a bit :) Don't worry, you will have your 1000+ back in no time. I saw yesterday in the *Milestones* thread that I made the 28000. Oh boy, I am here way too often :blush:

I have to admit, I have am absolutely out of shape. It is embarrassing. I do know I need to do something but I am way too lazy. You are a great role model. When I grow up I want to be like you :D

3. Here are a few pics I took just a little bit ago

My favorite place to eat at 3am. It's a truck stop with a Subway restaurant in it that is open 24/7. It's the only place around here where I can get something besides pancakes and biscuits and gravy.

If you're going to be like me when you grow up you are going to have to learn how to drive a 70 foot rig. You best be going to truck driving school. ;)

And a big part of that is that I'm not away from family and friends all the time.

I used to teach people how to drive trucks, so I could certainly be your teacher. :)

29. If you look closely at that first picture you will see a Waffle House in the background :)

There is also a Waffle House within 3 miles of my house. I can't eat at places like that. The only fast food I can eat is Subway because I can get something there that is actually healthy.

I had a great weekend. Went to the zoo, visited friends for a bbq, went hiking (you can see the pics in my journal).

The new job is just a second job so that I can earn some extra money for vacations and stuff I wanna do in my condo. It will sure be differenf from my main job.

i tried to relax this weekend; and catch up on some housework...I did go back to Busch Gardens (i have a season pass), and during the weekend I watched some really bad baseball, basketball and soccer...I also went swimming...

and true to American tradition, many of the movie channels played nothing but famous war movies--some good (Patton) and some not so good (Midway)

Made it through 3 days of renfest. The skies partially cleared on Saturday and cleared on Sunday and Monday afternoons; it rained later in the night. A great time was had by all! :woohoo:

44. Trip was great

weather was gorgeaous.
Thursday we went to the zoo, Friday we went to a bbq at a friend's place, Saturday we went hiking in the Vosges, France. Sunday I visited a friend.
Had good food all days. Saturday after the hike we bought cheese in France and had it with fresh baguette and red wine :9
