So my employer is forcing me to use a personal day for the time I had to take off work to appear before a grand jury (that I was subpoenaed to appear before)
They consider it a 'PERSONAL' issue that my home was burglarized, and therefore not a civic duty.
Because I _chose_ to be burglarized.
Because I _chose_ to appear before the grand jury.
OMG :cry: I absolutely hate having to accept this sort of abuse, but I cannot afford to lose my job.

Sorry I didn't see this before. There is so much to dig through on page one of the Lounge, I had to go to pages 2 and 3 to find what's been going on!
