I'm thinking that after they finally realize they aren't getting anywhere, their last act of desperation will be to quote "reliable sources" that can verify she's a lesbian who will push for nation-wide legalization of gay marriage. I wouldn't have ANY problem with that were it the case, but it would scare the hell out of "the GOP base", or what's left of it.
