If/when you don't have a donor star, what ads does DU target you with & what's it say about you?

DU adware seems to think I want to date a Korean pen pal. Also that I am into farming. And I would like to listen to White Rabbit, "It's Frightening."

How did the adware conclude I'm part of the advertising demographic of a lonely American farmer trying to acquire a Korean mail order bride while listening to White Rabbit?

2. They seem to go in fits and starts.

A few that are recurring are hungry children, Frontline episodes, and an Obama action doll (I'm still trying to figure out why he has Ann Coulter's hands. Is it possible there was an Ann Coulter action doll with a LOT of hands left over and the manufacturer thought to themselves..."HEY! Let's use up the Ann Coulter hands!" I mean, jeez, you'd have thought they could have at least died them a few shades darker....)

Right now, I'm looking at diet adds...that's another recurring adware theme. It's not bad enough I KNOW I have a fat ass, now I have the site telling me I have a fat ass. Ah well.........

Actually, I find the ads to be entertaining at times. I don't know if I'd shut them off if I had the option.

4. The ads I see usually say more about the page I'm viewing ...

... than they do about me. If I look at a page that mentions food, I get ads for food products. If the page has the name of a politician, I get political ads. Then, of course there are those stupid white teeth.
