What's your favorite movie car?
I had to fix my POS truck by the side of the road today and it reminded me of this:

Nick Nolte's piece of shit sky blue Cadillac from 48hrs. My favorite movie car ever.

And how could you beat Burt Munro's 1924 Indian - for real, "The world's fastest Indian". And check out the documentary that's on the DVD (Sacrifices to the God of Speed) - the "real" Burt is even cooler than the movie one!

30. Steve Bolander's '58 Chevy Impala from 'American Graffiti'
Absolutely beautiful lines that year. :)

Then John Milner's '32 Ford coupé from the same film — especially because it had a small-block Chevy engine. :D

Then the '55 Chevy 150 driven by James Taylor and wrenched by Dennis Wilson in "Two-Lane Blacktop." It had a 454 with aluminum heads, a tunnel ram intake and two four-barrel Holley carbs, a Muncie M-22 "Rock Crusher" 4-speed and a 4.88:1 Olds rear.

Then the '68 Dodge Charger driven by Peter Fonda with Adam Roarke as the mechanic in "Dirty Mary Crazy Larry." (Three different Chargers were used in filming. The other two were '69s; one was an R/T. I prefer the lines of the '68.)

BTW — you can find pics of and info on tons of movie and teevee cars at the Internet Movie Car Database.
