life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness
Does not one require good health in order to pursue this all illusive happiness thing.
As an American is one required to pursue happiness?

2. no, you can pursue happiness even in ill health
I'm still working at it. Sometimes you need to take a detour but you can get there. And if not you tell yourself that the journey not the arrival matters. And you believe it.

4. Wouldn't it be great if we could just BE happy or CHOOSE happiness
instead of having to PURSUE it...as if it's someplace to get to...or instead of it already being here??
