until I checked your profile! You do write very masculine for some reason I can't really explain it. Obviously you might be thinking that too or why would you have a poll on this topic.

Is it because of the NFL thread? Alot of women I know like football. It's not odd.

I'm no linguist, but I know that people (o.k., at least me) tend to assign gender to words. For me, Mobius is masculine (wasn't the guy who invented the strip a guy?).

If I didn't know you were a female and I saw you with that avatar, I would assume that you were a male. It reminds me of my uncle's garage. He's got all these scantily clad women hanging all over the place.

8. That avatar is good, it personalizes your posts, but

why are you so concerned about whether we know your sex or not? I've got a pretty ambiguous handle and my avatar doesn't give anything away. I don't mind which way people think of me on this board. I kind of like the mystery.

I've read the first 7 replies. "titty"? I don't think I know any women who use that word. And Mobius does conjer a masculine image, so you're handicapped from the start. Also for most of the guitar heroes thread I thought you were a male, dunno why, but something in there caused me to check your profile, so now I see you're female.

Maybe you hang with a lot of guys and picked up some of their verbiage?
