Johnny Ramone is a jerk
I knew most of this already and should know better than to read anything from the Washington Times, but all I have to say is thank god Joey and Dee Dee don't have to be around to read this garbage:

1. No one ever said he was SMART.
Plus, he lives off his capital, not his labor - like most Republicans - so the tax cuts really help him out.

2. Very true
Not very smart, living off capital - I guess he's got the deck stacked against him - repuglicanism was inevitable.

3. He's always been a dick
the wrong two Ramones were taken from us, in my view.

7. He doesn't deserve to be called a Ramone
Maybe he should call himself Johnny Nugent from now on.

6. If you sniffed glue and had lots of money
you'd be a Republican too.

9. Probably
Joey and Dee Dee were the glue-sniffers; Johnny was the teenage lobtomy.

17. And Johnny was never happy about that song
He consistently criticized it in the press, saying it was "wrong not to support the president" back then. :eyes:

16. Thank God Joey and Dee Dee wrote the lyrics!
And I have no intention of burning my Ramones albums..... I'll just try to block this awful fact from my mind when I listen to them. If Eddie Vedder can tolerate Johnny Ramone in person, I can tolerate him on CD.

18. The Ramones once played a 48 minute gig in London's
Roundhouse (and that was almost a double bill! - their usual routine was 24 mins....) and afterwards Joey and Johnny had a gawdawful punuchup about "The Meaning of Satire" as one local london paper later put it...something about not having a sense of humour I think.....
Was a long time ago, 1983 I think...

19. How fargin clueless can you be???
<<"God bless President Bush, and God bless America," he said, clad in his trademark T-shirt, ripped blue jeans and leather jacket.

<<"I said that to counter those other speeches at the other awards," Mr. Ramone says in a phone interview. "Republicans let this happen over and over, and there is never anyone to stick up for them. They spend too much time defending themselves.">>

"There is never anyone to stick up for them?" Has Johnny Ramone ever heard of Rush Limbaugh? Sean Hannity? Ann Coulter? Laura Ingraham?

What a moran!
