Wish I would have photocopied the cartoon, it was great. Damn cats, why do we put up with them. Love cats, love dogs, love horses, ... people are difficult to love.

I often wake up nearly paralyzed in the morning because I sleep in odd positions all night so as not to disturb the cat.

My husband won't let the cats sleep with us because he doesn't want hair on the pillows, but we do take naps with them in the guest bedroom (because we never have guests). They love to lie on my feet and in the bend of my legs (I sleep on my side), and I can barely move when I try to get up! They love it, though, and so do I!

exponentially greater than non-sleeping cats. Same is true of sleeping dachshunds. Scientists have not yet determined the cause of this phenomenon.

I myself have measured this phenomenon, and can attest to its veracity. My cat usually weighs about 8-9 pounds. Curled-up on the bed, he weighs approximately 149.7 pounds.
