My roomie's sewing swastikas, ask me anything!
My roommate is making outfits for her theater company's performance of The Sound of Music.

Tonight she's sewing swastikas for the officers.

Bizarre things happen in this house...

1. Will you burn them when they're done with the performance?
Reminds me of a speech given last semester in my speech class. The guy grew up in rural CA and had always liked the "rebel flag" (ie. stars 'n bars). He had one with him and talked about why he had identified with it and what he now understood it to mean. At the end of the speech he wadded up the flag and threw it away, saying "I don't want to be associated with this flag anymore"

Pretty powerful speech, I thought.

Scene of domestic tranquility: Effie and Jag (both registered Republicans, btw) sitting on the sofa assembling swastikas...

10. I'm the token Dem in the house!
Two Republicans, a libertarian, and me.

Yes, it's interesting. We often agree to disagree. To their credit they are all in favor of equal rights and are pro-gay marriage.
