1. I didn't see it until the "buzz" had long passed either -
although I saw it 4ish years ago.

Now, I'm a HUGE Tarantino fan. I have just about every movie he's ever even been loosely associated with on dvd.

If you haven't seen Dusk Til Dawn yet, you MUST.

I just finished watching the El Mariachi trilogy - (loosely affiliated with QT, he has a minor part in Desperado) - and I also highly recommend El Mariachi! I almost wish I'd watched the big money Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico first - then watched El Mariachi, as I kind of feel El was a better movie than the second two. Not too bad for a movie that cost $7000 to make!

6. Do you like the cool way that time is fractured in that film?
The story still makes perfect sence, even thought the sequences are far from linear, and are deliberately out of sequence.

Can't watch it just once!

9. Rent it on DVD
It's much better letterboxed.

I wish HBO would add a letterbox channel. Maybe make HBOZone all letterbox or something.

12. Guess during which song it started.
Here's a hint. The chorus was particularly relevant, as she was a virgin too.

I owe Quentin Tarantino a lot for that one.

18. I walked out on it.
Can't stand tarantino. And I got a personal grudge with him; used to hang with him and some folks he really screwed over, Once Upon a Time.

21. Did you notice that there were already bullet holes in the wall
of the kids apartment that Travolta and Jackson enter in the beginning?

The briefcase -"It's beautiful"- is what Hitchcock called a McGuffin, a prop that serves other purpose than to forward the plot.
