Coolest TV/Movie Car?
I'm new and not a donor, so I can't set up a poll. Then again, I don't want to limit choices or submissions with a poll anyway, so :P

I heard this on a local radio station yesterday morning. I tried and tried to call in, but I couldn't get through. I guess there was a top ten list published somewhere that listed the best/coolest ever. I personally disagreed with several of the ones listed. Then again, I guess that my personal favorites are unconventional anyway.

To start us off, I will offer up two nominees:

The Dodge cop car from the movie "The Blues Brothers" and Mel Gibson's Boss Mustang in "The Road Warrior"

Neither one was pretty, but they both kicked ass!

17. I Liked His AMC-Something In "Man With The Golden Gun"
It wasn't a Pacer... a bit larger than a Gremlin.

And then there was the flying car that Miss Goodnight was in. Remember her popping open the trunk to discover that the car was flying?

23. An AMC Hornet
Was the car James Bond (Roger Moore) stole from the AMC dealership.

And it was an AMC Matador that Christopher Lee and Herve Villachaize(sp) had that could fly.

15. Were you listening to Charlie?
Heard about the same list yesterday morning, some insurance company did the survey. KITT didn't make the list, but neither did Mr. Beans Mini.

Mad Max's interceptor wasn't a Mustang, but a Ford Falcon XB, a car exclusive to Australia. But since they were built on the same platform, I guess the claim can be made that they are the same thing as mechanical differences would be very slight.

My favorite movie/tv car was Magnum's Ferrari 308 GTS.
