4. Dunno.
Are you sure it's 'me'... or maybe we just have a bunch of lazy bums on DU who don't make their bed every day and who pile up their dirty clothes and underwear all over every square inch of open floorspace as though they still lived in a dorm or a frat house. Hmmm.

I'll report back later.

:hi:

11. I'm with you...
My have no problem keeping my house clean and I generally demand that my children have their room in order before they go to bed (you never know what can happen in the middle of the night). However, my kids would love it if there was someone to do the work for them every once in a while.

15. What would be even better
Is if the friendly housekeeper took the spouse and kid on a one day trip (gone from dawn to dusk) so I can clean the house myself. Now that would be progress!!

17. If you have any archaeological training...
I'd have you start on the kidlet's room. The living room would be a close second.

Laz generally takes care of his baby - the kitchen - and I usually take care of our bedroom and the bathroom with no complaints, but with all the critters in a small apartment, the living room gets out of control very easily.

Something about tween-agers - especially tweener girls - invites the most gawwd-awful messes in their wake that can only be taken care of with a shovel or a backhoe...

:)

Thanks for the offer, however, I don't think you have the proper hazardous materials disposal certs to start in on the kid's room. I'm working on a waiver, but with the California EPA rules, I'm not sure I can get one by the time you'd make it out here.

the kitchen and bathroom are my domains! But the office, where I spend just about 90% of my time really needs attention.

If it weren't for housework writers would have no excuses :)
