1. Bwa-ha-ha!
Was it any good? We've been considering it here.

5. Great homage, good laughs.
It isn't some kind of let's-goof-on-the-70's movie that screws with the source material -- this coulda been a two-part episode of the old series...except much funnier.

I'm too young to have seen the series, but old enough to be familiar with it - and I thought it was great. They save that great theme song until the climax at the end, and it's just perfect. Thumbs up.

6. Too young to have seen the series, huh.
Bleh. You kids (shakes fist)!

Kidding, of course (mostly) -- but I am old enough to remember the series. My older sister had a big crush on David Soul, so I remember seeing it a few times. I checked IMDB and saw that he and Paul Michael Glaser do cameos in the movie, too -- that should be funny.

3. Well, my daughter and I went for
"Hidalgo." And considering we both ride horses (though she rides a lot more like the people in the movie than I do), we really enjoyed it! OK, a beheading and a few spiked people, but I think it was tame in comparison to "The Slaughter of The Christ."
