Searching for victimhood

Maybe I am not trying hard enough. You see, I want to be a victim. Or perhaps just a tad oppressed. Hell, I will even settle for being offended. But that takes work, and I am lazy.

I will admit some of the rank stupidity in the Spain threads pisses me off, but being pissed off is just not as satisfying as being a victim.

Of course, if I make it to victimhood, I am going for the gold. I am going for full-blooded martyrdom. You ain't shit in this world until you become a martyr. Especially if it comes as a result of perceived offenses and slights to your opinions. It's the American Way!

Another damn problem: I am capable of making decisions for myself, and see no need to petition any of you for advice on how to achieve victim status. But maybe if I moan about none of you helping me with useless advice, I can claim victimhood status, and make all of you unwitting accomplices in my Life's Dream.

10. Victimhood is a rather loaded phrase.

A quick goggle brought results relating "Victimhood" being used as a pejorative qualifier for feminine, black, Jewish, Palestine, Gun Control cause. I stopped after the first two pages.

Victims do exist. Victimhood, implies a life long and unreasonable obsession with being a victim. Usually used by those who would stand in opposition to causes that are truly trying to overcome oppression.

I know that is not what you meant by this post. More information than is required. I plead new comer.

11. I am a victim-maker, but do not yet have the required

credits to make a martyr. I have my undergrad in pissing off the potential victim.

I am working on my thesis. Please help me by letting me know how I may oppress and offend you.
