The @#$%ing ice-cream truck woke me from my Sunday nap.

The chimes loop over-and-over making it impossible to sleep. It's been going on and on for 30 minutes now! Grrr. :grr:

My ONE time this week to relax has been ruined to make a bunch of neighborhood kids happy. Bah humbug!

7. "Fur Elise." (translated: "For Eloise")

The guy who drives the truck in my neighborhood has that one, too. Also 'Turkey In The Straw,' which makes me want to throw bricks. 'Fur Elise' is bad enough, I had to learn that on the piano when I was a kid. If I remember correctly, one time last summer he also had 'Greensleeves' playing on the chimes, which is kind of creepy -- since Greensleeves is about a scorned lover.

8. Our icecream truck plays "Do your ears hang low" and "The

Entertainer". Then we have an awesome ice cream truck that serves soft serve cones,sundaes, banana splits and shakes and it just has a bell that dings at about 5 second intervals...I can't wait for summer. It's like DQ at your door!

Now go back to sleep.
