Sunday haiku thread

A haiku is a short poem consisting of three unrhymed lines. The first line has five syllables, the second has seven and the third has five. They are usually spiritual in nature, but they don't have to be as I will demonstrate with mine (that is unless you consider beer drinking spiritual):

I wish I were done
with all my homework today.
Beer is calling me.

8. What's senryu?

Can't say I've ever heard of that one. Your right about nature (most haiku contains it) but as was explained to me it doesn't have to be that way.
