I sure as hell hope we can make it out of the 2nd round. I am proud of our runner-up spot in the SEC tourney but I am feeling that there may be an early upset in the making. The team is just too young and they don't take pressure very well.

9. I'm pulling for UF

The last time we were a #5 seed, we went all the way to the National Championship game.

They really needed that win Friday night. It was very encouraging after all the struggles UF's had in the SEC Tournament. Sure, we lost to Kentucky today, but the committee ranked UK the #1 team in the country.

Realistically, I hope we make the Sweet 16. Manhattan's a tough first round game. #12's traditionally give 5's trouble in the Tournament. If we get by them, Wake Forest will be tough. They struggled their last few games, so I think it's a winnable encounter.

I just worry that we don't play enough defense to beat a Pittsburgh or Oklahoma State in the East Bracket. Looking ahead, St. Joe's/Florida could be one hell of a game. Both rely so heavily on the perimeter shot.

Looking at the way our season's gone, if Donovan can get them past the first weekend it will be an accomplishment.

19. I like the 'Zags but I think they will struggle

against a team like Kentucky, Pitt, Okl. St. (if/when) they get that far. The Zags only two losses were to Stanford and St. Joes so I'm using that as a factor as to why I think they will struggle against the more heavyweight teams.
