I got ticketed and the cop forgot to give me back my license

the ticket's only $25, but i didn't realize i didn't have my license back until about 100 miles later. and it's a North Dakota license where i'm registered, and i'm now in Minnesota at least 4 hours from the nearest ND DMV. Would I have to drive all the way there to get a replacement? ugh.

2. If nothing else,

maybe the ticket could be used as proof that you have a license (in a pinch at least).

3. call a police station in the area that you got the ticket

i donno, the ticket might have the issuing officers' name on it and you might be able to get it back? im just guessing, i donno if they put officer's names on them or not, ive never gotten one.

im not excessive and im careful to make sure thiers no police around to see me do it lol.
