29. Yes.. but you don't wrinkle like others - do you?
I've got the Portuguese somewhat oily skin from my dad. I have to fight the occasional blemish but don't have anything near the wrinkles others my age do.

My dad had great skin until the day he died. So, I'll put up with the breakouts to be this fabulously young looking :P

4. Don't blame the cat...
I'm in my 30s too and I still get stupid zits. No cat here to blame either.

When we were teenagers and they told us we would outgrow it...THEY LIED!

8. You think YOU have problems?!
Just try taking over the world!

The stress of it has given me a pretty bad case.

Pickles does *not* like asspimples, BTW.

10. Happens to everyone (well, almost). Wash your face
with Aveeno Clear Skin foaming cleanser every morning and you'll rarely have a problem any more. It's gentle and kills the bacteria that causes acne - which is always present no matter what you do! Other acne remedies work too, but this is the gentlest one I've found. Others cause irritation that leads to breakouts - for me, anyway.

11. OK, this is as good a place as any...
...to share this, although you'll probably all wish thay I hadn't. For years I'd worked at jobs where I was on my feet most of the day. In fact, every job I've ever had involved standing. Anyway, at my current job I actually sit all day. For months I swear my ass must have had to adjust because I was getting the worst case of body acne--but only on my ass. To say that it was a pain in the ass is painfully obvious but it was. I think I've finally made the adjustment because the outbreaks have stopped.

12. I'm 43 and I still have to use benzoyl peroxide evry day
Oxy-wash and coat the problem areas with oxy-10. I wish I could find 5%.

My father had young looking skin up until he was 79, so having oily skin is not all bad. People with dry skin get more wrinkles.

What ever you do--stay out of the sun if you want your skin to stay young. Get just a little bit at a time, and not too often.

15. 50 with acne
I started having problems when I got pregnant. It has been off and on since I was 28. I just turned 50 and my poor face exploded. It was so bad this time that I finally gave in and am taking medication until it clears all the way up. Damn, wrinkles and now acne scars!

18. I've got a prominent one on my chin today.
KCDem likes to pop my back-pimples.

I remember a comedian who said that zits never go away... after 30, they just migrate to your ass.

19. You're at the difficult stage in life:
acne and gray hair. Sucks, doesn't it? It's potentially worse sometimes when you're pregnant. At least, this has been my experience. I do better when I minimize my dairy intake.

Maybe a dermatologist can help? Or an endocrinologist?

Hope you get better soon. You don't want to be carded ALL the time.

20. I'm 41 and I still get them
You are most definitely not alone. ARRRGGGGHHHH! But now I've gone from oily skin in the "T" zone around my nose to dry, peeling skin which nothing will cure. Sigh. People tell me what beautiful skin I have - they obviously aren't looking closely enough!

21. Forever.
I'm forty-one and have the skin of a sixteen year old! I suppose I should be grateful; I guess I would be if that didn't naturally include "blemishes."

23. Wash with warm, rinse with cold
Warm drains the oil from your grill...cold seals your pores back up.

24. I used to have more problems
but now with the exception of monthly hormonal shifts, my face is relatively clear.

What did it for me was becoming a vegetarian, replacing most carbs like bread and pasta with whole grain ones, and eliminating a lot of processed food from my diet. I also greatly increased my soy intake, which practically cured the problem I had been having with fibroids. I went anemic so often that surgery was the next step, but they have since shrunk considerably.

It truly is amazing how what you put in your body affects so many aspects.

This is what worked for me. Mileage may vary. Hang in there. Nothing a dab of cover up can't help. :-)

I've been blessed that it's never been much of a problem. Seems like for many women though, they have to deal with it unitl menopause. Sorry. :(

27. Look on the bright side
you may get pimples until you're my age (44) or older, but I'll LOOK older than you will. Oily skin ages better than dry, delicate skin. I'm starting to look my age, and if you ask me, that sucks.

You get those coveted tiny pores in youth. I get people who say "you're how old?" in mid-life.
