We went to the rodeo this weekend...

Well, more the livestock show. Despite the rain, it was rather fun. Our 4.5 y-o daughter wanted to ride the mechanical bull; they operated it very gently for small children, allowing kids as young as 2 on it.

NASA had an exhibition there, as well, and she was fascinated by the full-scale replica of the Mars Exploration Rover, and the video about the ISS.

1. Is the Astrodome in use for any rodeo activities?

3. I figured as much. Just curious if they were using the Dome for something

other than collecting pigeon poop.

I used to work there and can still recall the "aroma" of rodeo time.

4. I was stuck in rodeo traffic on the way to the airport Friday!

I was amazed at how many people were going considering it was so rainy out. I've never actually been to it myself...I should go sometime. Sounds like my daughter would have enjoyed it.
