4. I bawled like a baby. My husband didn't like it 'cause he said
he had no respect for a father who would leave his kid. (He also didn't like Angela's Ashes for the same reason.)

8. The dad never left the kid!
I mean, he was traveling often - but he did spend a good amount of time with his son

11. That is a great movie. Just great.
I own it.

And you have to tear up. It is just natural. And I don't tear up at hardly anything.

13. The end credits are indeed appropriate
What a song to fit the end of the movie. Of course, I'm very biased...

14. "My Girl in the River"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hCbdX92hbbg

I lost my dad in February....died in my arms. It made me cry when I saw the movie originally. I watched this and cried and cried.

Now it makes me smile.

He and I were a lot like the father and son in the movie...I am so glad Tim Burton made Big Fish. My Big Fish and his Girl in the River...Mom: :)
