1. drank underage and fled from a high school party when the cops came...
not to mention trepassing by going inside an old, abandoned house. Also flashing other people in cars. Hmmm.....so many illegalities I've committed...

62. yeah, well....
Janis Ian used to do a column in The Advocate (she might still; I don't read it anymore). She wrote a hilarious one several years ago about a woman who got caught packing in the airport. She didn't think ahead when she chose her weapon. It was a metal one, at least, metallic enough to make the metal detectors go off. I vaguely remember something about her being escorted to a private room where she had to strip for a female security guard.... Thank god this was before the TSA.

59. I drove without a license for 3 years in the 1960's.
I was thinking such a thing would be impossible today, I also drove a friend to the Glenview Naval Air Station from SW Milwaukee in less than an hour {1969 428 Ford Gran Torino/GT}. Hit 150 m.p.h. during the drive. Hunter S. Thompson has nothing on me.

I'm glad no one was hurt, it was insane, I was young and dumb-and very lucky.

91. Hmm I drove when my license was SUSPENDED for a whole year
.
.
.
was the most tense driving I ever did.

and MAN, was I a good driver, 2 cliks under the speed limit, ALWAYS signal my turns, full stops for at least a second or too, and so darn COURTEOUS to other drivers it hurt!

and my Truck? - well, I did the "walk-around" check all the lights thing, touched up any tiny rust spots, made sure my tires were good and inflated properly, definitely NO exhaust leaks - -

OH

if'n I'da got caught ?

would have lost my license for another 3 years, and up to a year in jail -

That's probably not the WORST thing I ever did, but it was a whole year of bein' ILLEGAL!

. . . . .

1. Pot smoking... check
2. Insurance fraud (claiming a few things that weren't actually stolen) ... check
3. Petty theft (comics, candy, toys) ... check
4. driving on VERY expired plates and inspection ...check
5. lying under oath ...check
6. underage sexual activity (I was under 16 he was quite a bit over 18) ... check
7. blackmail ...check

There are so many things I have done that I really have lost track. Luckily, none of the really bad ones can be traced to me. I still do #1 and #4.

46. I stole a file cabinet from my office.
I had the keys---all senior employees did; it was a small operation. Anyway, one night, I just parked my car in the back lot, went inside, and dragged the cabinet out piece by piece. Mind you, I needed the storage, and couldn't afford a file cabinet of my own on what these bastards were paying me. And this was one of half a dozen empty cabinets just sitting around. I took it. It was never missed. And frankly, to this day, I have no regrets. I will add that, when I moved, I donated the file cabinet to a charity---along with the car I loaded it onto. Also, my boss was a multi-millionaire who paid me, a senior employee, $20,000 a year for 60 hours a week.

Okay, also? I shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

51. I think I violated the Digital Millenium Copyright Act
I paid for a recipe program online and never got the password. After sending three emails without response, I found a crack at a site that was liberally decked with pictures of plastic-looking people in sexual congress.

Something similar happened to my son just recently. He spent two weeks trying to get "Knights of the Old Republic" to work -- which climaxed with tech support saying he should take out both his CD drives and ship them to Austria(!) so they could study them. At that point, he got fed up and found a cracked version of the main file. The game now plays perfectly.

At this rate, they're going to turn us all into criminals.
