Though this case does raise a lot of other questions.

If you can be arrested for refusing to undergo a C-section to prevent endangering your fetus, what about the McCaugheys? You know, the parents of the Iowa Septuplets. She was warned through the pregnancy that carrying that many fetuses could prove harmful to some/all of them, and it was suggested she abort some of them. She & her husband refused, and now at least two of them have cerebral palsy-type problems.

2. Well, according to the logic being applied

in this case, she should be charged with something and had one of the fetuses died, she should be charged with murder.

Makes me feel lucky, too. Also, I adopted my son out of a similar situation (dysfunctional, addicted people). The child who survived will have a new chance. Better, we hope.
