3. Shotguns that throw people back when shot..

.. but don't throw the shooter back the same amount.. (equal and opposite reaction, etc)

How about views through binoculars that show the 'double circle' image..

Or getting a busy signal when someone hangs up on you on the phone..

Or kids who can hack any pc, guess any password on the first try, and monitors that are so bright they project an image of what you're typing onto your face..
