How does one upload an avatar that uploads?

still around? I've found that the avatars can take some time (15 mins or so for me) before they work. Just follow the directions and then give it some time.

That might make a difference, but I'm not really sure. I know that DU will shrink them if they're too big, but I'm not sure what happens if they're too small.

do I have to come from another source, like copy it and then transfer it from a pictures folder?

19. I'm not totally sure I understand, but...

If the graphic is on another website, (if you're on windows, anyway) right-click on the image and select "save image as..." or something like that. Then when you go to upload it, click browse, and select the file that you just saved. I hope that's clear. I'm not sure if it is. :)

The answer is

you can't!

It has to be uploaded to the DU server, from YOUR computer . .

you can't use an outside link like posting in the page

That should be clear in the profile page when you go to do it you should see



Then click on the BROWSE button and you will get a picture or your computer drives like this



Find your "avatar" on YOUR computer, and then upload it -

that's it, that's all !
