Not really crossed I guess, but I start seeing a little double or have trouble focusing on things after 20-30 minutes.

I noticed last night I think I have pretty pleasant dreams on Ambien. Not really exciting, but happy and content.

ambien is an amnesiac. blocks the transfer from short- to long-term memory.

but you won't remember this in the morning....

7. Hmmmm...never had that happen.

I get up and go to the bathroom all the time and remember it. Also I took it once when I was in the hospital and they had to take my blood pressure every two hours and I remember getting woken up to do that all three times. Course I usually split them in half - works just as well plus I don't use them up as fast.

10. the effect is more likely if you fight it

head to bed before 20 minutes. the longer you 'fight' it and resist sleep, the more loopy you are likely to get, and also the amnesia is more likely.

unless you just underdosed, of course.

11. I get visual imagery as I drift off

post-Ambien. Even on just a half. Actually kind of pleasurable. Cartoon-like junk that I'm not making happen, but seemingly random stuff that I can analyze cuz I'm still aware and conscious. Lasts about five minutes, then sleep.
