1. Bravo, my friend!
The only regret I have is that they left out the line on statistics and the very real fact that over 100 million slaves died under capitalist regimes. ANd how many over the next year just from pollution? How many from the wars on Iraq, Afghanistan, Venezuela, the mercenaries in Columbia, Guatemala, Bosnia, Haiti RIGHT NOW and in the maquiladoras everywhere. We just cut the Oregon Health plan here and already several have died from lack of medicine to prevent simple things like seizures. You should be proud to get into the Detroit News with even the partial piece that you got-I salute you. DUers everywhere now is the time to GO if we don't start educating the public they will take Venezuela, then Cuba and maybe even Spain if the new government is too "uppity, and everywhere else into the "New WOrld Order" (ie the US "Dominion"). Already administration officials have slipped twice in the last year and said "if there is another mass terror attack, we may have to cancel the election" read Martial Law. just to be safe. Can't trust those commies and terrorists, socialists and terorists, anything not capitalist and subservient to corporations ie terrorists-lets take back the terms of the debate-make them defend capitalism! I am 50 years old and it has yet to produce equality, equitable distribution of resources and benefits, or fair working class life-expectancy anywhere.

4. That, and the part about Hollywood
Were the two things I was angry they took out. Other than that, I thought the editing was somewhat acceptable. Y'know, I really should have known that it would get printed, especially after throwing down the proverbial gauntlet near the end of the article.

2. Clipped out some good stuff, but you have to concede your advantage

Your opponent is named 'Bray'. If you were writing for the NYT, you would make frequent use of this 'coincidence' in your editorial comments.

6. Yeah, I know. They took the machette to it
Still, it made a couple of the points. I'm only upset, though, about two things they took out (the points on slavery and Hollywood). I'm glad you liked the article.
