What is your most favorite thing that you have ever done?
Mine is being given special permission to shave and groom the little monkeys at the pet store, and then being allowed to bathe with them.

1. Dang, DU rules prevent replying to this honestly.
No sex threads, ya know.

2. Not sure if you're being serious or not...
but that is the strangest thing I've read all week.

I led a workshop and lectured at a national conference of literacy service providers.

3. That sounds good. I'm a big animal lover, so a chance to bathe with monkeys...
was a personal highlight for me.

4. Singing a hilarious song before a nearly-packed house.
Through no talent of my own, we brought the house down... well, I sang and played my guitar for accompaniment, but I didn't write the song, and my "backup" singers' perfect harmony made the piece.

My next favorite thing was riding a Segway.

Took me almost a month, but by then we had covered 95% of all tarmac in the country.

And bummer about the nosexthreadrules.

Cheerleading in school, and now coaching a team of my own.

(Not me or my kids but representative of some of what I love about the sport)

Of course, I wimped out and took the cog down. :)

There was also the time that I had a friend arrested by Klingons...but we won't go there.

17. Those little ones...
I forget what they were called...but they were so cute!

I used to lather them up with this stuff that they sold in the pet store called "Monkey Shave", and then shave them by starting at the top of their heads, and working down.

After they were shaved, they were smooth and happy, and they would grin at me.

Then, I would fill up the stainless steel tub with some soapy water and get in the tub with them and bathe.

I would wash them.

With loofahs.

14. In chronological order
1) first and only of 6 siblings to have graduated from university.

2) only one without a tattoo.

3) Gave up everything I owned and moved to Germany to marry the man of my dreams.

4) overcame my phobia of public speaking and became an English teacher and discovered I'm funny and talented! Who knew!? My impersonation of John McCain had them in stitches.

5) Lefty, you never answered what type of monkeys you took a bath with. :spank:

19. Nonsexual right ? ( so I guess this starts with 7,352nd most favorite)
Singing a cappella gospel music at the Telluride jazz festival. Singing Can't You Hear Me Knockin'( among other Stones tunes) with the guy who actually played the sax solo(s) for the Stones playing sax with us. Reaching the top of Wheeler Peak, the tallest peak in New Mexico (over 13,000 feet; BRUTAL getting there , but incredible feeling of accomplishment when we finally got there).....and finally, every single time I went skiing before my knee refused to cooperate anymore.
