i won't call you stupid and feed you full of lies...but some people are hurt because their egos are too used to the lies and they definitely can't do without the "age is just a number" "all women are beautiful" "good men never have a sexual thought" and all the rest of the unrealistic bullshit

real people make mistakes, screw up, have cheap sex even if they're otherwise nice people, get sick, get older, etc. but for some reason it is not popular to say so...you'll just be better liked in this world if you're willing to spit out a bunch of lies

Choir-preaching diatribes that go on and on and on about how democratic socialism and an economy that stresses long term outlook, emphasis on the greater good and more economic equality will put us in a far better place than disaster capitalism did. Let's face it: economic common sense apparently doesn't put asses in the seats, especially when it's the only thing I talk about. Very few of my posts make it to 20 entries before sinking like lead. I'm not into "brevity". Oh, and I'm told I curse far too much.

I have absolutely no stomach or tolerance for right-wing/right-libertarian economic dickery coming from anyone, let alone the mouths of DU members. I have an ignore list filled with flamethrowers, serial douchebags, job offshoring/free trade supporters, dicks who are dicks for the sake of being dicks and people who think closing down debate by way of "dressing down" fellow DUers is acceptable practice. All of them, much to my dismay, are STILL HERE.

I like the September 11 forum and often take the side of the posters many refer to as "woo woo loons". I also hate the "woo woo" insult. Engage in constructive debate without finger-wagging. There isn't a damned thing wrong with us because we don't believe in some half-baked Republican concoction that defies logic, luck and coincidence.

I like Rush and Yes and cannot listen to Rolling Stone/Spin's "sacred cows" (like anything that has Jack White in it, for instance). In fact, I'm listening to "Wonderous Stories" right now.
