9. ive read the conspiracy theories...

and i beleived that he 'had help' for awhile, but every time i explained myself i got weird looks. i think the fact that he had enough shit in his system to incapacitate an elephant would speak to the fact that he probably didnt put away his drug paraphanalia, cleaned up the room, then go find his shotgun, put it in his mouth and pull the trigger, with that much in your system you would be passed out on the floor, even if you were concious, you wouldnt have the coordination to hold your head up let alone do all that. but then again, i think too much, and im a sucker for comspiracy theories.

This is a hell of a lot better than watching some run-of-the-mill interchangable starlet/talkshowhost cuteness.

I've always admired those who refuse to color within the lines.

Having said that, Courtney is a mess.

I thought she might have been drunk instead. Anyway, it's too bad that someone I admire so much musically is in such a mess. And, I would hate for her daughter to lose both parents. I don't believe the conspiracy theories, as Cobain had already been able to do other things back then, and it was investigated. The song she performed, "Hold On To Me," is one of the better ones on America's Sweetheart - an album that I feel is fine but fails to live up to Live Through This and Celebrity Skin.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- After baring herself on "The Late Show with David Letterman," singer Courtney Love was arrested early Thursday at a New York City nightclub for reckless endangerment after she tossed a microphone stand into the audience, striking one of the club's patrons in the head.

Love gave a surprise performance at Plaid, a lower Manhattan nightclub, for about 400 patrons Thursday morning. While on stage with her band, Love hurled a microphone stand into the audience and struck a 24-year-old man in the head. According to a nightclub spokeswoman, Love was unaware of what happened and continued to perform. The victim walked through the crowd to the security guards, who called for an ambulance. Love was arrested when she left the stage.

"It was pretty bloody,'" said the spokeswoman. "No one really knew while she was performing that this happened. She wasn't aware and did a few more songs. He worked his way through the crowd to the door and security called the ambulance."

I saw this and felt bad that she was a mother and she didn't remotely have herself together yet at what, 35 or 36? Isn't it time to grow up? I mean, I'm not the most perfect human being or mother in the universe myself, but I'm a dependable, stable person. I think she needs an extended stay at Betty Ford and start to deal with her problems.

32. She reminded me of a more annoying Bette Midler

--even the gestures, like in her faux confrontation with Letterman. She was so rehearsed, so staged, so tired, I felt like I was watching the cosmetic surgery version of "For the Boys." It reminded me of when Madonna was interviewed at the MTV awards a couple years ago and Love started yelling and Madonna--never one to shy from the spotlight herself--said "Oh Courtney isn't getting enough attention." Yeah.

Well, people are talking about her now. I guess she got what she wanted.
