What are you *doing* DUing on St Patty's Day Night?

I hab been sick, so I am staying home and nursing my cold with alternating beer and hot tea. I am usually NOT a sad friendless person! My sneezy thanks to the fun flirts here. I've managed to stop weeping over the news... and am now weeping over sad Irish/Scottish music. Just kidding! I'm pretty happy, actually... So, do tell, what's your story for staying in tonight?

1. No where else to go

All my friends are either working until late tonight or they have to get up and go to work early tomorrow.

As for me, sometimes I'm more content avoiding the whole "club" scene completely.

3. wallowing in envyand jealousy

my sister and i are volunteering at SXSW for free badges she was assigned to work the austin music awards show tonite and was allowed to give one person VIP pass .She chose my mother over me.So while they are hobnobbing with celebrities and muscians i am stuck here flaming away in GD04 :( :pout:

4. I'm Irish -

okay, I'm not - I'm lowland scots, and married Korean - it may be St Paddy's day, but it's also 30 years of marriage. For some reason I never figured out, we were married on this Irish saint's day.

8. Long story short...

...I have no life.
Seriously, though...I work days, my wife works nights. So nights are when I hang out with my darlin' daughter because she's only 9. It's cool. I like my time with Jenny, and the time without her mom is icing on the cake! :D I recommend alternating schedules. We see one another probably 10 hours/week...marriages like that might last 100 years. Is that an up side, or a down? I'll flip a coin...Ha! Edge! Ya don't see that every day! Happy St. Patrick's Day, anyway!
