1. Oh I am soooo sorry
My heart goes out to you. Give yourself time to grieve and then just look to the future and keep on trying.

5. I feel your pain. If it makes you feel better...
...this isn't in any way a symptom of future difficulties for having children. My wife had one too, years ago, and 3 years later, this happened.

8. I'm sorry.
It happens more than we realize. We lost three pregnancies. It hurts. I think bewildered is the best way to describe how I felt. Good luck for next time.

9. I am so sorry Luv. Nothing but time is going to ease the heartache,
but that doesn't make it any better today. My thoughts are with you and your wife. It's not easy...not at all.

Go easy on yourself, and thanks for caring so much about your wife. You are truly a man.

11.  Deepest sympathy...........
Luvpurp.......I know the pain you're feeling, it happened to my ex-wife and myself many years ago. I rationalized it by thinking that it is nature's way of cleaning house, making the NEXT one a sure thing. I was right. Her next pregnancy resulted in the most beautiful daughter any parent could want. She's 20 yrs. old now, and on the Dean's list at Tulane University.
Hang in there dude, everything happens for a reason. What's past is past, live in the moment but look forward to the next little Luvpurp which I believe will be the healthiest, most wonderful experience to ever grace your life. Children are a blessing, your time will come. Until then love each other much and don't forget you've got family, friends and all of us here at DU pulling for you. Be strong for the Mrs. right now, she needs all the love and support you can give.

13. Thanks for all of the kind words
Believe it or not they really do help. I thought I would tell you that already have a 20 month old daughter and we were hoping to add to the family. In fact the saddest part for me is that our little girl may not get the opportunity to be a big sister, but thats life and we have already been very blessed. Its probably the end of the line for us as far as pregnancy goes though, this is our 3rd time going through IVF and we cannot afford (both financially and physically) to do it again. Tomorrow will be easier than today and so will the day after that. Thanks again

15. This hits home....my daughter too
She was so excited about her baby, but miscarriaged this week. It brakes my heart when parents who really want a baby, face these problems. Painful as it is, nature has a way of mixing herself. Nature will Bless you Again.

17. I am so sorry
That is just so sad. Don't hesitate to lean on your fellow-DUers when you need a shoulder. It's not exactly like the real thing, but, as you can see, there are a lot of people who understand the grief that you and your wife are experiencing now.

I wish you and your family the very best.

18. Been there, I'm sorry
I had a miscarriage 10 years ago at 12 weeks. I wasn't even trying to get pregnant at the time, but we did and it was very hard (and painful) when I lost that pregnancy. I let the grief affect the course of my life and my decisions. Take care of each other and if you both want to try again, give it a few months to just process everything.
