* birthday card spotted at Target

So I was at Target today picking out a birthday card when I spotted a card featuring Chimpy's ugly mug.

On the front of the card it said (and I'm paraphrasing here):

"My intelligence sources tell me that you become more attractive every year."

When you open the card, it says:

"It does't matter if it's true as long as everyone believes it."

6. Target has some great ones....

At the one near O'Hare in Illinois, I got a card that has the joke where Bush and Cheney are in a restaurant, and Bush orders a quickie because he doesn't know how to pronounce "quiche". I also got one there that shows a picture of Laura talking about how she has to read all of Shrub's cards for him (it insinuates that he's too stupid to do so himself). :)

8. Spotted this one at a local grocery:

George Bush and Dick Cheney are sitting in a restaraunt when the waitress comes over and asks what they'd like for lunch. Bush turns to Cheney and says, "You know, that chick looks pretty good, I think I'd like a piece".

The waitress erupts "MR. PRESIDENT! I voted for you expecting a return of decency and honor to the White House. You're a pig and I'm sorry I ever voted for you!".

Cheney leans over; "Uh, George? That's pronounced quiche."


I have no clue why that was in a card, but I found it funny :)

9. Peace T--Shirts

Target was selling tee-shirts with the peace sign made out of an American flag last year during the drumbeat to war time.

Bought a couple for my daughters.

They don't make noise about things like that--guess they don't want a bunch of screaming freepers attacking. Don't know what their corporate policies are, but I gotta like a store that would sell those shirts.

11. I saw another one there

picture of * on the front that said "I'm the most powerful leader on the planet" then inside it said "and if growing another year older doesn't scare you, then that sure will"!

Another BD card I saw had a similar * portrait on the front, and read "I'm taking time out of my busy day planning economic reform to say.."
(inside) "Is you having a happy birthday"? :7
